Getting started
Is the free trial really free? Do I need a card?
Yes. Sign up and your 7-day trial starts immediately — no card, no payment details. You get the full study experience for one subject, with 10 queries a day and a few Practice Tests to try.
Which exams and subjects do you cover?
The CSIR NET science papers and GATE (Chemistry CY, Physics PH and Life Sciences XL) — see the course list for every subject live today, each with its own syllabus-organised content.
How is this different from asking a general AI chatbot?
The syllabus is the structure. Every card is a concept, learning objective or common misconception from the official syllabus, and each answer is grounded in the subject's textbook material. You are not writing prompts — you click what you need to study.
Plans & payment
What does each plan cost?
Basic is ₹999 per month and Premium is ₹1,999 per month, per subject. You can pay for up to 3 months at a time. See the pricing page for exactly what each plan includes.
Will I be charged automatically?
No. A plan simply ends when its validity runs out; you are never charged automatically. Renew whenever you want.
Can I hold more than one plan at once?
Yes. A second plan for the same subject stacks alongside the first — each keeps its own expiry date and its own daily limits.
What happens when my plan or trial ends?
Your paid content access ends, but you keep a small free allowance so the app still works and you can pick up again whenever you subscribe.
How do I pay?
Checkout runs inside the app through Razorpay (cards, UPI, netbanking and so on). ExamCatalyst AI never sees or stores your card or bank details. Access unlocks the moment payment completes.
Study features
What are Q&A, Doubt Clarify and Practice Test?
Three features built on top of the syllabus: Q&A answers one learning objective at a time, Doubt Clarify corrects the misconceptions students typically hold, and Practice Test generates fresh MCQs for any concept.
How many Practice Test questions are there?
Each concept gives you 15 fresh MCQs (5 Basic, 5 Intermediate, 5 Advanced), so a subject's total is about its number of concepts × 15. The per-subject figures are on the Practice Test page. Your plan sets how many you can generate per day and per month.
Are the answers always correct?
Responses are AI-generated and grounded in your subject's textbook material, but no AI is infallible. Treat explanations as a study aid, cross-check anything critical against your textbook, and use Report a problem on any Test Series question that looks wrong.
Do the Chemistry Tools and Math Tools cost extra?
No. They are included with any active plan or trial. Math Tools is switched on per subject — see the Math Tools page for where it is available.
Test Series
How is Test Series different from Practice Test?
Practice Test is for learning: fresh, ungraded MCQs on demand. Test Series is for measuring: a fixed, reviewed question bank, a hard clock, negative marking and a real score. It is sold separately — see Test Series.
Is there a free Test Series attempt?
Yes — one free attempt per subject, valid for 72 hours. You can start it from the app after signing in.
What does Test Series cost?
₹1,199 for 3 months or ₹1,799 for 6 months of unlimited exams in one subject. Buying a new package for a subject replaces the one you hold for it; unused time on the old package is not carried over.
